Mangal Electrical Industries has roped in Arun Singh for the role of chief human resources officer (CHRO). He has moved from  Lalbaba Engineering where he was vice president-human resources, industrial relations and administration.

An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Arun Singh was associated with Tata Steel for over nine years in the initial stage of his career journey. He joined the company as a graduate engineering trainee in 1997. Six months later, he was elevated to senior officer-operations and maintenance. From 1999 to 2000 he served as senior manager-operations and maintenance. January of 2001 saw him being promoted to supply chain executive. Over two years into this role he was promoted to executive assistant to general manager of the Raw Materials division with 500 employees.

After a long and successful nine-year stint with Tata Steel, Arun Singh joined Tata BluScope Steel in December of 2006  to head corporate support. A year later, he became head-marketing, business development and sales. Over one and a half years later, he was elevated to general manager-human resources, industrial relations and administration, in 2009. He served in this role for over six years.

From February 2016 to December 2019, he served as head-human resources, industrial relations and administration at Foseco India.

His next stop was MAN Energy Solutions, in January of 2020 as head of human resources, industrial relations and administration. He worked out of Aurangabad,

Maharashtra for over two years before heading for Pune and working as an organisational transformation professional as part of The Transformed You.

Two years later, he joined Lalbaba.

Now, at Mangal Electrical Industries, the Indian magnetic core (CRGO) manufacturing company,  his experience in organisational transformation will definitely serve him in good stead.

HRKatha wishes Arun Singh all the best!
