Clarks Exotica Convention Resort and Spa has appointed Debanjana Basak as its new senior human resources and training manager. Basak’s professional journey spans leading hospitality brands including Hyatt Hotels, Speciality Restaurant, and Passcode Hospitality, where she gained exposure to international practices and diverse operational frameworks. In 2021, she transitioned into academia as a faculty member at the International Institute of Hotel Management, Bengaluru, before moving to Sarovar Hotels.
Basak holds a post-graduate diploma in human resources management from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). She also holds a BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.
