After a successful eight-year long tenure with Accenture, Deepak Prateek Singh has taken up the role of head talent management and organisational development, Volvo Group, India.
Deepak Prateek Singh, who obtained a degree in mechanical engineering in 2012, is also an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, where he studied human resource management and strategy.
The initial three years of his career were spent playing assistant manager-business development and sale, at AVTEC, from 2012 to 2015. He interned with Accenture for a couple of months before joining the company as TAP HR specialist-recruitment, in June of 2017.
Three months into this role, he was elevated to TAP HR specialist-Accenture Strategy, HR strategy and transformation. By 2018, he had been promoted to TAP HR specialist-recruitment-capability network (Accenture Strategy). Three months later, he became TAP HR specialist-recruitment-Accenture, B-school. He was involved in competency mapping and automated assessment design, piloted on 1000+ students across 11 campuses. He conceptualized, designed and launched the Accenture Campus recruitment app. February of 2019 saw him play TAP HR specialist-Accenture Ventures (startup incubation system). Then he was elevated to TAP HR specialist, recruitment, Argentina. By September of 2019 he had risen to the position of lead-learning and leadership development.
The next promotion made him lead of total rewards. By May 2022, he was leading talent strategy. He was elevated to AVP- AVP-lead talent strategy & people operations-S&C GN-data and AI, India.
