With effect from 1 July 2025, Gaurav Bhartia will play chief financial officer (CFO),  Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care. Bhartia has been associated with P&G since 2014 when he began handling sales finance, working out of Mumbai.
Two years into this role, he was elevated and moved to Hyderabad to take on the role of plant finance leader for one the largest multi-category plants within P&G India. Two years later came another promotion that saw him returning to Mumbai to lead financial planning and analysis.
From 2020 to 2024, he served as director-financial planning and analysis. In April 2024, he was elevated to sales finance leader.
An alumnus of the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Gaurav Bhartia completed PGDM in general management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore in 2014.
Interestingly, he had worked with P&G as a summer intern-finance and accounting, in April 2013, in Singapore for two months. Then, after completing his course from IIM, he joined P&G in 2014 and was based out of Mumbai.
He also did a two-year stint with Futures First Info. Services, as derivatives trainee and then as analyst-interest rate trading.
Bhartia who is “ humbled and honoured to take on this new role” is excited about “the way this role will enable me to have a broader impact” and is eager to “contribute to the growth of P&G in India”.
