Havells India has roped in Bhuwnesh Singh Chauhan for the role of vice president-human resources. Chauhan was earlier with Montage Enterprises where he served as chief human resources officer.

Bhuwnesh Singh Chauhan’s tryst with human resources began as an executive-HR with Moser Baer, way back in 2001.

In March of 2005 he joined LG Electronics, as senior executive-human resources. Less than two years into this role, he was elevated to assistant manager-human resources. Another promotion made him deputy manager-HR and MS, in 2009. From 2012 to 2013, he served as manager-HR and MS. By July of 2013 he had become corporate HR head (AGM-HR & MS). In 2016, he was elevated to head of HR and MS-Noida plant, with focus on fostering inclusivity, change management, conflict resolution and skill development.

After a long and successful stint of over 12 years with LG Electronics, Bhuwnesh Singh Chauhan moved to Suzuki Motor Gujarat. By the time he completed a four-year stint, he had become head of human resources and employee relations at the Indian car manufacturer, looking after a workforce strength of over 10,000.

Chauhan’s next stop was Escorts Kubota where he served as chief general manager-human resources for almost two years before switching to Montage Enterprises.

Having completed an MSc in Mathematics, Chauhan obtained an MSW (HR, Social Work, Psychology and IRPM) from the Institute of Social Sciences, Agra.

Bhuwnesh Singh Chauhan’s energy, passion and true commitment to work will prove to be an asset to Havells India, the FMEG company that manufactures a wide range of electrical products for residential, commercial, and industrial use.

HRKatha wishes him all the best!
