After a long and successful tenure of over two decades with Intel, Kanupriya Gupta has joined UnitedHealth Group as vice president-total rewards.
Gupta, an alumna of Lady Sri Ram College for Women and the Symbiosis Centre for Management and HRD, began her association with Intel as a business analyst, in 2004. Hardly over a year into this role, she was promoted to HR business partner. Two years later came another promotion that made her compensation and benefits consultant. In October 2012 she was elevated to business HR partner. Eight months later she was made India compensation &d benefits and HR operations manager. Over six years into this role, she was elevated yet again to total rewards director, Greater Asia region. For the next five and a half years, this role saw her developing and driving total rewards strategies to support Intel businesses across 16 countries in Asia (China, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, APAC, ANZ and Japan) for 35,000+ employees. She helped maintain competitiveness, legal compliance, employee value and manage the team of country rewards managers across Greater Asia. Additionally, she also played chairperson for the Prevention of
Sexual Harassment (POSH) committee, Intel India.
Since September of 2021, Kanupriya Gupta had been serving as senior director, international total rewards, Intel India, based out of Bangalore. She was responsible for total rewards offerings across 44 countries in Asia, Europe, Australia and Africa for 50,000+ employees.
