He has worked with some prestigious brands, including Unilever, Philips, Taj Hotels and Tata Motors. Talking to HRKatha, Tiwari says, “I completed five years at Tata Steel. The role at Lupin is more complex than it was at Tata Steel. I have never worked in the pharma industry, which involves stringent laws in terms of maintaining quality of products. I have seen that Lupin has been a pioneer in producing medicines, especially for tuberculosis, and has made progress through researches in various other domains.”

“My focus will be to maintain high quality in manufacturing and engineering. My experience with Unilever, in world-class manufacturing, will help me fulfil my responsibilities in this role,” he adds.

Tiwari started his career with Taj Hotels as an HR officer. He has a wide range of exposure pan India, in world-class manufacturing. He has had the opportunity to work in different geographies with some of the best blue chip companies.

He has worked with Philips, India for eight years as an HR manager. Post that, he moved to Tata Motors and served as an assistant general manager, HR.

A science graduate, Tiwari completed his post-graduate diploma in human resources. In his new role, he will be reporting to Yashwant Mahadik, president, global HR, Lupin.
