Somesh Ganti has been appointed director-HR at T-Hub, taking on a senior people leadership role at the Hyderabad-based innovation and startup ecosystem platform.
Ganti brings experience across talent management, performance management, HR business partnering, succession planning, rewards and recognition, career development and change management.
He joins T-Hub from Syngene International, where he most recently served as senior manager – talent & performance management. He joined Syngene in June 2024 as senior human resources business partner and later took on an expanded HRBP mandate for the company’s Essential Functions.
At Syngene, Ganti worked on talent depth, succession planning and leadership development across critical functions. His responsibilities included designing succession strategies for key roles, supporting leadership onboarding and change management, coaching managers and aligning talent strategy with business requirements.
Before Syngene, Ganti was human resources business partner at Deliveroo, where he worked from January to June 2024.
He previously spent close to two years with BrowserStack as global human resources business partner-tech & product. In this role, he partnered with functional leaders and co-founders across India, the US and Ireland on people and organisational priorities.
His work at BrowserStack included employee engagement, performance management, career conversations, manager coaching, employee experience, succession planning and change management. He also partnered with talent-acquisition teams on initiatives that contributed to reducing early attrition.
Ganti spent more than four years with Jio, beginning his career there as an area HR business partner before moving into the role of site HRBP – AI CoE & digital products. At Jio, he partnered with more than 30 digital product and engineering leaders and worked on career-progression frameworks for technology roles impacting more than 5,000 employees.
His responsibilities also included developmental interventions, performance management, employee engagement and change management. He was involved in two M&A transitions and led a premium campus recruitment initiative that resulted in the hiring of 80 product managers within 70 days.
Earlier in his career, Ganti worked with Amazon as a human resources associate.
An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, Ganti holds an MBA from Gayatri Vidya Parishad College for Degree and PG Courses.
Ganti has described his HR approach as centred on connecting people, performance and purpose, with a particular focus on talent management, leadership development and aligning people priorities with business outcomes.
At T-Hub, his move brings together his experience across technology, talent and performance management and HR business partnering as he takes on a broader HR leadership mandate.
