Gaddam had joined NMDC as an executive trainee in 1992. She steadily climbed up the ranks to achieve a leadership position inspiring women in the mining industry.

Thanks to her NMDC has been able to set the highest standards of employee welfare. She has managed to successfully streamline processes and procedures in industrial relations, hiring, medical policies and stakeholder management within the company. She represented NMDC in the Second Pay Revision Commission with respect to the Pay Revision of CPSEs and has since achieved significant outcomes in negotiating wage settlements.

At NMDC Steel (NSL), Priyadarshini Gaddam strategically led the rewards and recognition (R&R) policy, introduced skill-development initiatives for the community and established the Fire Department, Occupational Health Centre, and Primary Health Centre for the overall well-being and safety of the workforce.

This alumna of Osmania University, Hyderabad, holds a postgraduate degree in Social Work (Personnel Management and Industrial Relations) along with an LLB.
