OPG Mobility (formerly known as Okaya EV), has appointed Anand Amrit Raj for the role of chief human resources officer (CHRO). This assignment will require Raj to lead the electric mobility firm’s human-resource strategy, including talent acquisition, employee development, compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion, and organisational design.

Anand Amrit Raj began his tryst with human resources with Paras Group, where he joined as officer-HR, in 2001. Three and a half years later, he moved to HCL Technologies, as assistant manager-HR, in December of 2004. Two and a half years into this role, he switched to Fiserv, as HR manager.

Raj’s next stop was Wipro Consulting Services, where he joined as senior consultant, HR advisory, in 2007.

March of 2011 saw him taking on the role of head HR-engineering division, at Escorts. For almost two and a half years, he successfully looked after strategic HR, manpower planning, performance management system, organisation development, change management and transformation, recruitment and selections, LTS, HR operations, processes automation, campus drive, compensation and benefits, as well as career and succession planning.

From 2013 to 2016, he was associated with Livguard as head-corporate human resources (SAR Group). Three years later, he moved on to join Nabling Consulting as consulting partner-HR advisory.

The year 2018 was witness to Anand Amrit Raj accepting the role of vice president-human resources and admin (group HR head) at Okaya Power Group. His tenure at Okaya lasted five years before he joined Best Group in 2023, as SVP-human resources and admin (group CHRO).

Since July of 2024 he has been business advisor to AAR Services, a one-stop solution for all HR needs of growing and start-up businesses.

Anshul Gupta, MD, OPG Mobility, relies on Raj’s “deep expertise in HR strategy and proven ability to lead diverse, high-performing teams across regions” to support OPG’s continued growth. In this new assignment, Raj “will play a crucial role in developing our people and talent strategy, ensuring we remain a market leader in empowering talent and delivering value.”
