    Publicis Global Delivery ropes in Mayoori Kango for CEO

    Earlier, Kango was with Google for over six years with her most recent designation being that of industry head for AI, martech & media solutions @MPT

    Publicis Global Delivery has appointed Mayoori Kango as chief executive officer (CEO). She moves from Google where she was industry head for AI, martech & media solutions.

    Mayoori Kango began her professional journey with 360i, as associate media manager. For two years, she planned and implemented digital campaigns for clients such as, NatGeo, Red Roof Inn and more before moving to Resolution Media. From February of 2009 to June of 2010, Mayoori Kango served as supervisor, advertising solutions: Omnicom Media Group Company. During her tenure, she headed the search engine marketing (SEM) business for Resolution Media on Pepsi, Monster, Electrolux.

    Her next stop was Digitas, where she served as associate director, media, for over two years.

    The year 2012 saw her taking up the role of chief digital officer, India, at Zenith. A year into this role she was elevated to chief digital officer.

    After a successful five-year stint with Zenith, Kango moved to Performics as managing director.

    In March of 2019 began her association with Google. She began as head of industry-agency partnership. Five and a half years into this role, she was promoted to industry head for AI, martech and media solutions @ MPT.

    In her social-media post, Mayoori Kango expresses her delight on becoming part of the global executive leadership team for Publicis Global Delivery, saying, “I’ll be partnering with the PGD Global team to shape our global solutions and services across media, tech and digital—while also stepping up our AI practice. Having seen firsthand how AI is transforming the way we work, create, and connect, I’m especially excited about harnessing its potential to reimagine the future of marketing and media.

    She goes on to say, “I’ll also be wearing a second hat as CEO for our India Delivery Centre, where I’m looking forward to working with our talented teams to push boundaries, innovate, and create meaningful impact for Publicis clients worldwide”. HRKatha wishes Mayoori Kango all the best in this endeavour.
