Ramganesh Iyer has been roped in to play chief operating officer (COO), Mahindra Finance.

Iyer—who has studied electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and completed a PGDM from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad—began his professional journey as a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group, in 2004.

In November 2006, he became co-promoter and director of PARK Financial Advisors, a boutique wealth management and corporate finance advisory firm, catering to high net-worth customers in Mumbai and Bangalore. When the wealth management business was sold to Karvy, Iyer was part of the core team helping build out this business unit at Karvy Karvy Private Wealth.

From January 2011 to March 2014, Iyer served as principal, Bain and Company. About three years later, he moved to Peepul Capital Advisors as investment manager, in April of 2014.

September of 2015 saw him co-founding Fisdom, a money management and investments firm.

Since June 2017, Ramganesh Iyer has been with Bain & Company as partner, based out of Mumbai.

His experience in financial services, management consulting and entrepreneurship will prove to be an asset to the non-banking financial services company.

Mahindra Finance or Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services (MMFSL), which is part of the Mahindra Group, is reported to have posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 917.57 in the third quarter of FY25.
