    Sanjay Karmarkar takes on VP-talent acquisition role at Jade Global

    Karmarkar moves to Jade after a 17-year stint with Persistent Systems

    After a long and successful stint of over 17 years with Persistent Systems, Sanjay Karmarkar has joined Jade Global, the global IT consulting firm, as vice president-talent acquisition.

    An engineering graduate, Sanjay Karmarkar is an alumnus of Institute of Management Education (IME), Pune, and also holds a certificate in leadership skills from IIM-Ahmedabad. He has also completed an Oxford Executive Leadership Programme from Said Business School, University of Oxford.

    From 2001 to 2003, Sanjay Karmarkar worked as manager-training, Bit Mapper Integration Technologies. He joined Wipro Technologies as contract technical recruiter, in October 2003, working out of Bengaluru.

    He joined Intel in 2004, as contract technical recruiter for a short while before switching to Texas Instruments, as human resources executive, recruitment. For a year he was associated with KPIT Cummins Infosystems as human resources executive, recruitment.

    He was back in Pune in 2005, as senior human resource recruiter, Conexant Systems. About two years and nine months into this role, he moved to Persistent Systems.

    He joined Persistent as manager-human resources. Over four years into this role he was elevated to associate senior manager-HR (head-campus and leadership hiring).In June of 2013, he was promoted to associate senior manager-technical recruitment, working out of Santa Clara, California.

    From 2014 to 2016, he was in Dublin, playing associate senior manager-human resources.

    November of 2016 saw him back in India, to take up the role of geo head-talent acquisition, working out of Nagpur.

    During November 2021 to March 2023, he was in Canada, as geo head-talent acquisition. He then relocated to London, to serve as geo head-talent acquisition, for over two years.

    Known to be a go-getter with focus, Sanjay Karmarkar will definitely prove to be an asset to Jade Global with his people-management skills. HRKatha wishes him all the best!
