    Saurabh Bhasin elevated to CHRO, UPL

    UPL Corporation has elevated Saurabh Bhasin to chief human resources officer (CHRO). He has been with the global provider of sustainable agriculture products and solutions for over 11 years now

    An alumnus of Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, Saurabh Bhasin began his professional journey as an HR intern with Idea Cellular, in 2008. He joined the company in May of 2009 as HR business partner, Rajasthan region. By May of 2010 he was promoted to manager-campus relations and organisation development, based out of Mumbai.

    After over two and a half years with Idea Cellular, Saurabh Bhasin moved to Deloitte as senior analyst-campus relations, talent acquisition, in November of 2011.

    Bhasin’s next stop was Dr Reddy’s Laboratories where he joined as manager-HR, talent acquisition, in March of 2013. Over two years later, he moved to UPL Corporation, to take up the role of head-talent acquisition, HRBP-DECCO & UPDT.

    Over two and a half years into this role, he was promoted to global HR head crop protection HQ, DECCO & UPDT, based out of Mumbai.
    April of 2019 saw him elevated to global HR head-crop protection HQ, NPP & DECCO, working out of North Carolina, US. Four years later came another promotion that made him global HR head, crop protection HQ, total rewards CoE. Within five months, he was promoted to HR head-North America, LATAM and global R&D.

    With this latest elevation, Saurabh Bhasin will be seen leading global HR strategy and teams across six geographical regions. He will work closely with the CEO, group CHRO, and business leaders to drive people and organisational strategies for UPL’s global crop protection business, supporting 4,500+ employees worldwide.
