KLAY Preschools has appointed Megha Latawa as its new senior vice president–human resources. In her new role, Latawa will lead the HR function, focusing on strengthening people practices, building organisational capabilities, shaping culture and developing talent as the early childhood education and care provider continues to expand across India.

She will work with the leadership team to strengthen the organisation’s people agenda as it scales its operations and continues to invest in talent, capabilities and culture.

Latawa brings over a decade of HR experience spanning retail, e-commerce, FMCG, manufacturing and IT/ITES.

Most recently, Latawa served as chief human resources officer at iD Fresh Food. Her experience covers organisation design, talent strategy, learning and development, organisation effectiveness and culture building, with a focus on aligning people practices with business growth.

Prior to iD Fresh Food, Latawa was with udaan, where she joined in 2020 as HR Lead & COE and was subsequently elevated to head HR–customer discretionary categories. Before that, she spent several years with Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, overseeing talent management, learning and development and organisation effectiveness.

Her earlier career includes a stint with Infosys, where she worked in HR business partnering and organisation development roles. She is an alumna of Hindu College, University of Delhi and the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.

Welcoming her to the leadership team, Abhishek Joshi, chief executive officer, KLAY, drew attention  to Latawa’s “deep experience in shaping people strategies and building high-performing cultures. ” He expresses confidence in her leadership “playing an important role in driving our organisation into its next phase of growth.”

Latawa also conveyed her excitement joining KLAY at this stage of its journey. The company has a clear purpose and a strong connection with the families it serves, creating a meaningful opportunity to shape an organisation that is equipped for the future. Therefore, she  looks forward to “working closely with the leadership and teams to strengthen the culture, develop the capabilities we need, and create an environment where people can contribute meaningfully to KLAY’s continued growth.”
