    Vighnesh Baskaran joins Zensciences as head of human resources

    Baskaran moves from Happiest Minds Technologies where he was associate manager people practice

    Zensciences has appointed Vighnesh Baskaran as head of human resources effective September 2026 and he will be based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, working on-site in a full-time capacity.

    Baskaran announced the move on LinkedIn, stating that it marks a new chapter with a lot to build.
    He described it as the kind of challenge he was looking for.

    Baskaran’s career spans over 12 years. Most recently, he was associate manager of people practice (lead – talent transformation and organisation development) at Happiest Minds Technologies for two years, from December 2023 to August 2026. There he designed and governed talent management architecture for a 7,500-employee multi-geography organisation, including succession planning and HiPo identification, built a capability maturity framework, led organisation design initiatives and drove talent transformation programmes using AI-enabled tools.

    Earlier, he was manager HR business partner at Cuemath for a year, from August 2022 to August 2023, supporting a 600-strong global EdTech workforce across four geographies. He was associate lead – human resources at CoinSwitch Kuber from September 2021 to July 2022 for 11 months, leading L&D for 450 employees. He served as manager HR business partner for a year at Spinny, from November 2019 to September 2021. During this time he built and led HR for South India from scratch. Before that, he was analyst, People Business Services at Anheuser-Busch InBev for two years, from June 2017 to November 2019. He was a part of the back-end HR engine that runs HR processes for the world from India, and started as officer, HR at Lucas TVS from July 2014 to January 2017. In this role, he managed HR for an 800-employee manufacturing workforce.
