Shashank Bhushan has been appointed HR head-Americas and global people business partner, Amagi Corporation, the broadcast and streaming solutions company.
Backed by over 27 years of experience, Shashank Bhushan began his professional journey as a senior HR executive, in 1997, with BPL. A year later, he moved to Kvaerner Process as HR executive. After over a year of playing HR specialist for a PeopleSoft implementation there, Bhushan switched to ITC Infotech as HR manager, in April of 2000.
Four and a half years later, he was roped in by IBM, in September of 2004. By the time he moved on from IBM, over six years later, he had become vice president-human resources.
Then began a long and successful association with BMC Software. He joined as vice president-HR in November, 2010. A decade later, in 2021, he was elevated to vice president-human resources and chief talent architect. He contributed significantly to BMC Software India becoming a #8 employer in India by enhancing the employee experience, focusing on building future skills, creating a culture of innovation and building strong ecosystem partnerships.
Since 2024, Shashank Bhushan has been serving as chief consultant-CHRO, The Talent Architects, based out of Texas, US.
In his latest assignment at Amagi, he is spearheading the people strategy for North America while collaborating with global leadership. His focus is on fostering a strong organisational culture, enhancing leadership capabilities, and driving talent architecture to support the company’s ambitious growth objectives.
