Shipra Saraf has been appointed head HR consulting, India and South Asia, Microsoft. She moves from Kenvue where she was head HR for India since 2022.

An alumna of Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), Delhi University and XLRI Jamshedpur, Shipra Saraf started her career as an intern with EY in April 2006 and was absorbed as consultant, people and organisation practice a year later. She was elevated to senior consultant people and organisation practice in 2009.

After over five years with EY, Shipra Saraf joined Johnson & Johnson, as business HR partner, consumer sales and marketing + L&D lead, in September of 2012. Over three years into this role, she was elevated to HR lead-workforce analytics and special projects. In February of 2017 she was promoted to HR head-shared services, HR analytics and enterprise L&D. Another promotion came by in 2019 which made her head HR-supply chain and data science.

It was in July of 2022 that Shipra Saraf joined Kenvue as head HR for India.

A collaborative leader, proud of shaping solutions from scratch, and delivering in complex and ambiguous environments, Shipra Saraf feels privileged to join Microsoft at a time when “Microsoft HR stands at the forefront of harnessing AI to transform how we work” and is keen to “learn, grow, and contribute”.

HRKatha wishes Shipra Saraf all the best on this new journey!
