    Kulkarni moves to the American healthcare firm after spending over 7 years with Philips

    After a successful tenure at Philips that lasted over seven years, Swapnil Kulkarni has moved to Pall Corporation as director-human resources.
    This alumnus from XLRI Jamshedpur, from where he completed a PGCHRM in Human Resources Development in 2016, also holds an MBA in HR from Savitribai Phule Pune University.

    Swapnil Kulkarni began his professional journey as an executive-HR, TE Connectivity, in January of 2005. He spent the first three years of his career getting exposed to a range of HR activities including, management of white-collar employees, administration of training programmes, employee-engagement activities, pay roll, canteen management as well as industrial relations.

    January of 2008 saw him moving to Volvo Group, as deputy manager-HR. He was tasked with handling HR for the West & Central regions of Volvo Trucks customer- facing units. In 2011, he moved from Mumbai to Bangalore to handle national HR role for the sales and marketing vertical. He drove HR culture across the network, and looked after talent acquisition, talent development, as well as employee engagement for the entire retail network. In October of 2014 he was elevated to senior manager-human resources and partnered with business, handling workforce planning, talent management, capability building and employee engagement.

    After a decade-long association with Volvo, Swapnil Kulkarni joined Philips as general manager, human resources, in 2018. Post over seven and a half years of handling HR for Philips’ healthcare business, he has now taken up the role of director-HR, Pall Corporation, a New York-headquartered Danahar company, which manufactures high-tech filtration, separation and purification products.
