    TVSM gets Madhu Srivastava as president & group head-HR

    Srivastava takes up this role after serving Vedanta Resources for over 13 years.

    TVS Motor Company (TVSM) has appointed Madhu Srivastava as president and group head-human resources. Srivastava takes up this role after serving Vedanta Resources for over 13 years.

    An alumna of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Madhu Srivastava spent the initial years of her career with Godrej, as area sales manager, from 1999 to 2001. Just over two years later, she switched to GE Capital (GECIS), where she served as assistant manager-operations., from July of 2001 to September of 2002.

    Srivastava’s next stop was Reliance Communications where she took up the role of head-value added services, Delhi Circle. In this role, she was also a key member of the telecom / CDMA business of Reliance Industries (RIL). She was responsible for marketing and branding of the 12 company owned Reliance Webworld stores in Delhi – NCR.

    June of 2006 saw her joining Genpact as assistant vice president-talent acquisition. She handled middle management hiring for all locations of Genpact in India across finance & accounting, banking and financial services, analytics and back office.
    From July 2010 to November 2012, she was associated with Citibank as VP-HR, talent acquisition head.

    Since December of 2012, she has been with Vedanta. She joined as talent acquisition head-Cairn Oil & Gas, and went on to be CHRO-Cairn Oil and Gas and Vedanta group head for talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, in April 2015.
    December of 2018 saw her being elevated to president and group CHRO, Vedanta.

    Now, in her latest assignment with TVS, the global automaker in the two and three-wheeler segment, she will work out of Bengaluru.

    Sudarshan Venu, chairman, TVS Motor Company, is relying on Madhu Srivastava’s “ rich cross-industry experience” to “add significant value to the Group”. He is sue she will be able to “build on the strong legacy of values, trust and excellence that TVS is known for, while helping take our people and organization agenda to the next level in an increasingly competitive and dynamic environment”.
