Umesh Jadhav is back at Calderys to essay the role of HR director. Jadhav was earlier associated with Calderys for over five years, from 2018 to 2023.

Jadhav, who completed a master’s degree in human resource management/industrial relations/labour studies, in 2006, went on to complete an LLB from University of Mumbai in 2010.

In the early years of his professional journey Jadhav was associated with Ispat Industries as a management trainee, and with HSBC Bank as assistant manager.

In 2009, he joined Sanofi Pasteur for well over four years before moving to Lord India as head-human resources, in 2013.

February of 2014 saw him joining Roche as senior manager-attraction and sourcing. Just over two years into this role, he was elevated to associate director-human resources, in April 2016.

His next stop was Imerys, where he took up the role of India human resources director. For well over three years, he oversaw the HR for the French company’s nine legal entities and three business areas for India and 15 manufacturing sites. He led a 30-member HR team across multiple offices and manufacturing sites.

In August 2018 he joined Calderys as director-human resources. Less than five years later he was elevated to group talent and development director. In August 2023 he joined Infiiloom as CHRO before becoming an independent HR consultant for a while.

Now that he is back in Calderys—a company that specialises in thermal protection for industrial equipment—HRKatha wishes Umesh Jadhav all the best in continuing to put his diverse experience, as well as exceptional expertise in leadership, coaching and people skills to use.
