Veranda Learning Solutions has announced the resignation of its chief human resources officer, Vivek Sapre. His exit became effective at the close of business on 28 September 2026. The company confirmed the development in a stock exchange filing under SEBI’s disclosure rules, noting that Sapre had submitted his resignation directly to Chairman and Executive Director Kalpathi S Suresh.
In his letter, Sapre reportedly said the decision followed careful thought and was driven by a desire to pursue an external opportunity aligned with his long-term career goals. The company has acknowledged his contribution and expressed appreciation for the services rendered during his tenure.
Sapre’s career spans diverse industries and functions. He began as a software/test engineer with Infosys before moving to Telcon at Tata Motors Hitachi as marketing manager in 2009. He later worked as senior business analyst at Mu Sigma, followed by a stint at L&T Finance as national product and strategy manager across auto, PV, commercial, agri and construction vehicle finance. He spent close to three years with EY in financial services and business-advisory projects.
His HR leadership journey began in 2017 when he joined NeoGrowth Credit as head of HR and corporate affairs. In November 2023, he took on the CHRO role at Veranda Learning Solutions, where he has been associated for nearly three years.
Sapre’s exit marks a leadership transition for Veranda Learning Solutions as the company continues to evolve in a fast-changing education market. His move also highlights how HR leadership roles increasingly sit at the intersection of business growth, workforce capability and organisational change. With Sapre leaving after nearly three years, the company will now need to ensure continuity in its people strategy while aligning talent, culture and leadership priorities with its next phase of growth. For Sapre, the move represents another step in a career that has moved across technology, finance, consulting, corporate affairs and HR — reflecting the increasingly cross-functional path of senior HR professionals.
