After a successful tenure of over seven years at Fujitsu, Sumit Sabharwal has joined VOIS as head-HR services. VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) is a strategic arm of Vodafone Group, delivering intelligent solutions through talent, technology & transformation.
In this new role, he will lead the entire HR strategy for the company, ensuring day- to- day excellence across all key HR processes. His key responsibility will be to deliver a robust world-class HR services environment, and to advance the HR strategy for Vodafone Group.
Backed by over two decades of experience, Sabharwal began his professional journey as senior manager- HR with Huawei, in 2011. He moved to Fujitsu in 2013, as group head-human capital development.
For almost 12 years, Sabharwal held many key leadership roles in Fujitsu such as senior director-HR for Asia, India and Costa Rica; global head-global learning and development; head-HR delivery, Fujitsu global delivery centres; VP-HR.
Sabharwal has also worked with Concentrix as softskills trainer in 2003 and with Dell as its programme head-talent engagement, in 2005.
Sabharwal looks forward to working with the leadership at VOIS to “take the HR function to greater heights.”
Sumit Sabharwal holds an MBA in human resources from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad and a (BIS) Hons. in Computers from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
