    1,300 students of SRU Warangal placed; top package of Rs 44 lakh per annum

    SR University, Warangal, has reported a strong placement season in 2026, with more than 1,300 students securing jobs across leading companies. The University also facilitated over 1,500 internship opportunities, with the highest stipend reaching Rs1.1 lakh per month. The standout achievement was a top annual package of Rs 44 lakh, reflecting the institution’s growing reputation among recruiters.

    It is reported that major IT and consulting firms such as Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, and BNP Paribas recruited in large numbers. Accenture alone hired 254 students, while Cognizant took 165. Beyond IT, students found opportunities in management, core engineering, and agriculture sectors. Companies like Amazon, Cisco, JP Morgan Chase, Flipkart Neev, IDBI Bank, Reliance Brands, Asian Paints, Syngenta, and Bayer Crop Science offered diverse roles, showing the breadth of placements across industries.

    The placement drive highlighted the University’s focus on industry-aligned education and experiential learning. Graduates benefited from structured preparation, skill development, and strong institutional support, which helped them perform well in competitive recruitment processes. The success meet held on campus celebrated these achievements, with university leaders encouraging students to continue upgrading their skills, remain adaptable, and focus on innovation to stay relevant in a fast-changing job market.

    Overall, SRU’s placement season reflects both the scale of opportunities available. With ongoing recruitment rounds, the number of placed students is expected to rise further.
