UNICEF?YuWaah’s YouthHub and Gigin AI have collaborated to provide young people in the 15 to 29 age bracket with access to jobs, skilling, and volunteering opportunities.
Over the past four months, this partnership has already facilitated over 500 verified job placements, reinforcing the initiative’s commitment to reach youth in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as well as those from lower economic strata.
YouthHub, developed by UNICEF?YuWaah, is a digital platform that aims to bridge the gap between emerging talent and the opportunities needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market. Relying on artificial intelligence for job matching, the platform offers personalised recommendations based on an individual’s skills, experience, and interests, ensuring that every user finds the opportunity best suited to their potential.
Having set an ambitious goal of reaching two million young individuals in the near term and empowering 300 million by 2030, YouthHub is keen to foster collaboration between governments, private organisations, academia, and civil society. The integration of Gigin AI is a critical step in this journey, ensuring that the benefits of advanced technology and personalised career guidance extend to every corner of India, particularly benefitting the underrepresented Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
YouthHub connects users with a wide range of job listings across multiple sectors. It also offers volunteering opportunities that enable young people to give back to their communities while gaining valuable experience, as well as free training courses designed to build both technical and soft skills essential for the modern workplace.
Available in nine Indian languages, YouthHub is committed to inclusivity and accessibility across India.
The collaboration will address the dual challenges of access to employment opportunities in one place and the skills gap in India. By merging Gigin AI’s extensive and reliable job verification technology with YouthHub’s comprehensive suite of career-development resources, the collaboration creates an integrated ecosystem that transforms the learning-to-earning journey of youngsters.
Surinder Bhagat, founder & CEO, Gigin AI, said, “Our collaboration with YouthHub is a commitment to ensuring that every young talent in India can access verified, meaningful employment opportunities that truly match their aspirations. By connecting skill development with the job market, we are opening doors to a future where each individual’s potential is recognised and nurtured. The intent is to break down the barriers that have kept so many from reaching their full potential and giving young adults the tools and confidence they need to thrive in a fast-changing world.”
Abhishek Gupta, COO – UNICEF YuWaah, believes, “Our partnership with Gigin AI is a step towards enabling access to economic pathways through skill development and meaningful opportunities. By integrating technology, innovation, and our commitment to inclusivity, we are bridging the gap between talent and access, ensuring that no young person, whether from a bustling city or a small town, is left behind in building a brighter future.”
