After serving as chief operating officer since 2021, Tarun Nandwani has been promoted to the position of chief executive officer (CEO), Newgen Software. He has been associated with the global tech company since 1993, having begun as a humble software engineer in 1993, armed with a BE in Computers.
He spent the first ten years helping develop intellectual properties that formed the foundation of new product development and innovation.
After 15 years of association, he became senior vice president-business management, in May of 2019. Among his responsibilities, he spearheaded customer relationship management, commercial activities, new solution, and application development. He enabled customer success by ensuring timely and flawless implementations and continuous innovation. Less than two and a half years into this role, he was elevated to chief operating officer (COO) in September of 2021. The next five years saw him contributing to the company’s overall growth and customer success by driving business from the install base, enabling new product development, and expanding footprint across industries and geographies.
His forte has been customer relationship management, complex problem solving, negotiations, practical thinking analytics, commercial management, and smart transactional handling.
Now, in his elevated role, Nandwani will lead the company’s global vision, growth strategy, and innovation agenda. The focus will be on helping enterprises accelerate digital transformation through AI, automation and intelligent business applications.
