After a long and successful stint of over 17 years with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Major Prashant Palai will now head people and culture at Incture, the digital and AI solutions and products firm.
Backed by over two decades of experience, Palai served the Indian Army from 1995 to 2007 after which he completed an MBA in human resource management/personnel administration from IIM-Indore.
He joined TCS as head of recruitment in July 2008, based out of Hyderabad, Telangana. Two and a half years into this role, he was elevated to business unit HR head. He essayed this role for six years before he was elevated to HR head-business group, in 2017. This elevation saw him relocating to Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. He stayed put there for a little less than nine years.
Now, in his latest role at Incture, the company that provides digital and AI solutions to SAP customers, he will be tasked with leading the people and culture transformation agenda, as well as aligning talent strategy with business growth and organisational agility.
His focus will be to embed people-centric practices across the enterprise, and nurture a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability. He will help advance leadership and capability-development programmes and leverage data-driven insights to enhance employee engagement, experience and performance.
Palai will be expected to strengthen Incture’s People First charter, ensuring that the company continues to be a workplace where individuals can grow, perform and thrive.
His approach to people and culture reflects the same values of discipline, clarity and purpose that have defined his journey.
According to Sachin Verma, founder & CEO, Incture. Prashant Palai’s “experience in building high-performing teams and nurturing inclusive workplaces aligns perfectly with our vision of creating an environment where every individual can grow, perform and thrive”.
Palai himself is looking forward to “contributing to the company’s mission of enhancing people’s lives with digital by further evolving our people strategy and strengthening the inclusive culture that has long been a guiding force at Incture, driving engagement, agility, and excellence across the organisation”.
HRKatha wishes Major Prashant Palai all the best in his endeavours!
