Almost nine years into his association with Marico, Mitul Vyas has been promoted to head HR-corporate functions.
Vyas joined Marico way back in June 2017, as a management trainee. A year into this role, he was promoted to HR IT & digital manager. Less than two years into this position, he was promoted yet again to HR manager-new business. In this position, he ensured the smooth onboarding of Zed Lifestyle (Beardo) into Marico, setting up the payroll compliance processes and designing the performance-management system for Beardo. Additionally, he played HR business partner for three different business units: foods, digital and Beardo.

January of 2022 saw him being elevated to HR manager-sales. The next promotion made him HR manager-talent acquisition and cadre building. He became lead-HR, corporate functions in July of 2025.

An Electrical Engineering graduate, Mitul Vyas did his vocational training at Bharat Heavy Electricals in May of 2013. He joined Nucleus Software as a software engineer trainee in 2014, working in the product engineering team as a developer on Java-based application software, based out of Noida.

After completing an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, Mitul Vyas interned with Marico for a couple of months in 2016 before being absorbed as management trainee the following year.

With the latest elevation, he will lead the people agenda, primarily looking into talent development, HR transformation and organisational capability in line with the overall business goals.

HRKatha wishes Mitul Vyas all the best in this role!
