Livspace, the home interiors and renovation brand, has joined the list of companies that have successfully embraced artificial intelligence and are already enjoying the benefits.

A third-party agentic AI recruitment-intelligence platform at Livspace is helping the company acquire talent faster and allowing smarter and fairer hiring outcomes across levels and geographies.

For Livspace, it had become a challenge to build a workforce with diverse skills, from execution roles to senior leadership, amid its efforts to scale.

Filling of specialised positions meant lengthy hiring cycles and high costs. Manual sourcing and screening with the help of recruits hampered scalability and delayed hiring of crucial personnel. These issues were addressed by AI-led candidate matching, resume screening and evaluation automation, and real-time transparency for hiring managers and recruiters.

The third-party agentic AI hiring intelligence platform managed to smoothly and quickly scale across over 750 open posts, from mass hiring to senior leadership positions, and connected with Livspace’s current processes in less than two weeks.

The company reports that hiring cycles are now 40 to 45 per cent quicker, with senior positions being closed in merely 15–20 days. Earlier it took a minimum of 45 days. There is an improvement in cultural alignment too with attrition being reduced, as there is 20 to 25 per cent better applicant match. There is a lesser need for external agencies and manual screening, which has brought down costs by 30–35 per cent per hire. Senior positions such as head of design, regional sales heads and so on, which were challenging to fill in the past, are now easily and effectively filled.

Tanushree Ray, head of people & culture, Livspace, said “From reducing our time-to-hire by half to improving cultural fit” the adoption of the third-party AI “has made our recruitment function more strategic and scalable”. The company now sees the platform as a “long-term talent intelligence partner”.
