DTDC Express, the Indian express logistics firm has rewarded its operational staff and delivery associates with financial security, health and wellness, as well as rewards and engagement initiatives this Diwali.

The company has increased the Group Accident Insurance coverage by 400 per cent taking into account the fact that there is an increased risk of unforeseen incidents taking place during the peak festive demand season.

The objective is to provide a stronger financial safety net to safeguard employees and their families’ future.

Among other measures, the company offers a health and eye checkup programme, which benefits more than 11,500 employees. Under this programme, eye and health check-up camps are organised at all branches and hubs, providing employees access to vital health services and encouraging them to proactively manage their health.

To make its workforce healthier and happier, DTDC has introduced a range of reward programmes to recognise their dedication during Diwali. These initiatives include an ‘annual bonus’ and a performance-driven ‘delivery incentive programme’ that motivates employees to exceed expectations in delivering timely and exceptional service.

The ‘attendance bonus’ for associates is another way of showing unwavering commitment to employees throughout the festive season.

Additionally, DTDC has also launched a Biker Referral Scheme for employees to refer new delivery associates, supporting the company’s growth during the festive season rush.

Subhasish Chakraborty, founder, chairman and managing director, DTDC Express, acknowledges, “At DTDC, our people are our greatest asset. Having built this organisation from humble beginnings, we fully understand the importance of taking care of those who form the backbone of our success. This Diwali, we are reinforcing our commitment to ensuring that every employee feels secure, recognised, and appreciated. Whether through financial security measures, health and wellness initiatives, or reward systems that acknowledge their hard work, we are dedicated to creating a workplace where our employees and their families feel seen, heard, and valued.

The company believes in “a culture that prioritises the well-being of our frontline workers and ensures that, in this large organisation, every individual knows they are an integral part of DTDC’s journey.”

As the employees work tirelessly to deliver joy to millions across India, DTDC ensures they are supported, recognised, and rewarded for their contributions.

DTDC operates one of the country’s largest physically accessible express logistics network with over 16,000+ exclusive channel partners that contribute to its sales and service capabilities.
