In keeping with its longstanding tradition of generosity, Reliance Industries has once again delighted its employees with a special Diwali gift. This year’s thoughtful gesture has garnered significant attention online, showcasing the company’s commitment to celebrating the festive spirit.

A video posted by a Reliance Jio employee has captured the essence of the gift, revealing an elegant white box filled with an assortment of dry fruits. Inside, employees found a charming cloth bag, or ‘potli,’ containing neatly packaged packets of cashews, almonds, and raisins.

The box also featured festive messages such as “Deepawali Greetings” and “Shubh Deepawali” in both English and Hindi, further enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.

Accompanying the gift was a heartfelt note from Mukesh Ambani, his wife Nita Ambani, and their children—Akash, Isha, and Anant Ambani—along with their spouses. The note included warm wishes from the Ambani family’s four grandchildren, reflecting a personal touch that resonates with the festive season.

This thoughtful gifting is not a new phenomenon at Reliance. Reports indicate that the Ambani family has consistently showered employees with festive treats over the years. In 2023, employees received a similar gift, albeit in a pink box, maintaining the same essence along with its dry fruit contents. This consistent approach underscores Reliance’s dedication to celebrating Diwali with simple yet meaningful gestures.

The unboxing video showcasing the Diwali gift has quickly gained traction, raking up over 1.6 million views. The employee’s excitement resonated with viewers as she shared her delight, captioning the clip: “Diwali gift from Jio company.” The video elicited over 500 comments, with many users sharing their own experiences of receiving Diwali gifts from their employers. Reactions ranged from praise for Reliance’s thoughtful gesture to comparisons with gifts received from other companies, including mentions of air fryers and cash bonuses.
