JKCement, the Indian manufacturer of grey and white cement, has roped in Amit Dhiman for the role of head-manufacturing HR. Dhiman was earlier serving as assistant vice president-human resources and employee relations at Bennett Coleman & Co. since September 2024.
The initial five years of his professional journey were spent working as a human resources executive in the manufacturing industry.
March of 2005 saw him joining Nestle India as human resource generalist. He spent a little less than two and a half years there before switching to Ballarpur Industries, as plant HR head. This role saw him relocating from New Delhi to Yamunanagar, Haryana, in 2007.
After spending well over three and a half years with Ballarpur Industries, Amit Dhiman took up the role of HR lead at Maruti Suzuki India. He spent four years there, from 2011 to 2015.
In July 2015 he came to be associated with Hero MotoCorp as general manager-human resources. For the next six years and three months he was based out of Gurugram, Haryana.
Bata India roped him in to play head of manufacturing HR and IR in February 2023.
It was in September of 2024 that he joined Bennett Coleman.
His experience spanning employee relations, workforce management and manufacturing HR will stand him in good stead in his new role at JKCement.
