Bharti AXA Life Insurance has promoted Amber Prakash to vice president – human resources. Prakash joined Bharti AXA in 2008 to handle corporate and distribution HR. His expertise is expected to support Bharti AXA Life’s efforts to drive a future-ready workforce while reinforcing its employee-first approach.

In his new role, Prakash will play a key part in advancing the company’s people strategy and fostering a high-performance culture. He is set to take on broader responsibilities in shaping leadership development, strengthening employee engagement, and aligning HR practices more closely with long-term business goals.

With extensive experience in HR transformation, Prakash brings deep knowledge in areas such as HR business partnering, organisation design, manpower planning and budgeting, employee engagement, talent acquisition, sales HR, corporate HR, talent management, PMS, compensation and benefits, HR operations and shared services across diverse industries such as life insurance, financial services and manufacturing sectors.

Prior to Bharti AXA, Prakash was associated with Tata Business Support Services as its manager-HR. He joined the company in 2006.

As part of the senior management team, Prakash will also contribute to strategic decision-making at the enterprise level. His promotion reflects not only individual achievement but also the company’s broader HR philosophy of investing in and empowering internal leaders.

Bharti AXA Life Insurance continues to place people at the heart of its operations, and this leadership transition signals the company’s ongoing commitment to building a resilient, inclusive and growth-oriented work culture.
