Arun Verma has been elevated to senior vice president & head-HR, DLF. In this new role, Verma will spearhead the company’s rental business.
Verma joined DLF in the year 2024 as SVP-HR. In this role, he led the company’s HR operations, learning and development (L&D) and corporate HR.
Prior to DLF, Verma was associated with Servify as its chief human resources officer & SVP- HR & admin. In this role, Verma was responsible for people experience, capability development and building the workforce of the future across three continents including Asia and Europe, with North America.
With a career spanning over two decades, Verma has also worked with many other companies such as CavinKare, Reliance Mutual Fund, Reliance Life Insurance, McKinsey & Company, Xerox India and Brightstar.
Verma began his career with CavinKare, as executive-HR, in the year 2001. In 2003, he moved to Reliance Mutual Funds as manager-HR. For over two years, Verma managed the HR functions for the company’s Mumbai office. In 2005, he switched to Reliance Life Insurance as regional manager-HR.
Verma’s next stop was McKinsey & Company in the year 2006. In this role, for close to four years, he served as head-HR for three service lines – practice research; research and analytics insights (RAI); proprietary knowledge.
The year 2010 saw Verma begin an association with Xerox India as deputy general manager-HR. In 2012 he was elevated to the role of general manager-HR. In this role, Verma not only led the people agenda for the sales & distribution division of Xerox India, but also set up two global delivery centres for Xerox Corporation. Verma was again elevated in 2014 as associate director-HR.
In 2015, Verma took up the role of CHRO, Brightstar. He was responsible for people management and capability development across offices in India.
