After over three years with Esappling, Shivangi R has been promoted to chief human resources officer (CHRO).

An alumna of Boston University where she studied International Business,  Shivangi R worked with Dell Technologies as human resources manager for eight years, from June of 2015 to May of 2023.

She served as the interface with customers to resolve questions and issues regarding compensation administration/processes, provided data for any internal business controls teams as required, and ensured compliance to client’s existing standards.

After eight successful years with Dell, Shivangi moved to Esappling, the appliances, electrical, and electronics- manufacturing company, in September of 2023.

She headed HR for a year, looking into all HR functions for a dynamic workforce across multiple locations. She also developed and executed HR strategies that align with the organisation’s mission and objectives, resulting in enhanced employee productivity and business growth. August of 2024 saw her being promoted to senior director-human resources. For the next two years and two months she oversaw multiple departments within a single company and even developed strategies for effective communication to implement in the workplace. Among other responsibilities, she also reviewed performance data to track a company’s productivity and profitability.

The next promotion came in May 2025 putting her in the chair of vice president-human resources. She collaborated with the management team to craft the company’s vision and mission along with Board Members. She developed strategic HR plans and policies, even while delegating tasks to other managers.

Now, with the latest promotion, she will serve as CHRO  and look into HR operations globally, for Esappling. She will supervise hiring and talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development (L&D), employee relations, as well as employee engagement. She will also ensure alignment of workforce strategy with the company’s broader business goals and priorities.

HRKatha wishes Shivangi R all the best in this endeavour!
