    Namit Baikar joins AISATS as CHRO

    Namit Baikar has been appointed as the chief human resources officer (CHRO) of Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS). With close to 20 years of experience across aviation, manufacturing, retail, and logistics, he brings extensive expertise to his new role.

    Before joining AISATS, Baikar led human capital for SATS India, managing HR operations across subsidiaries and joint ventures. He joined the company in 2019 and also served as an HC business partner for global operations and food solutions, focusing on talent management, strategic HR initiatives, and compliance.

    His expertise lies in employer branding, leadership development, and business transformation.

    His career includes an over three- year long stint with the IKEA Group, where he joined in the year 2016 as market manager-HR, Asia Pacific region. In this role, he played a key role in the company’s market entry and distribution strategy in India and the APAC region.

    He also spent eight years at AP Moller – Maersk, managing HR functions across South Asia and the Middle East. He joined the company in the year 2008. During his tenure, he contributed to McKinsey & Company’s ‘Operational Excellence’ rollout at Maersk.

    He has also worked with Concentrix and Larsen and Toubro in his early years.

    AISATS, headquartered in Mumbai, is India’s gateway services provider. The company operates in Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Mangaluru, and Ranchi airports. With over 13,000 professionals, AISATS delivers ground- and cargo- handling services, ensuring seamless travel experiences and safe cargo operations.
