    Mohanty moves from First Citizens India where she was human resources operations manager

    Nitun Mohanty has joined Lighthouse Canton as vice president-human resources. She moves to the global investment institution from First Citizens India where she had been serving as human resources operations manager.

    Mohanty began her career as an HR trainee with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company. For over two years she successfully handled employee relations for the direct marketing team, taking care of about 500 employees across Karnataka and Kerala.
    In July 2012 she switched to Cisco where she served as human resource analyst for a short while before joining Manhattan Associates. There, she played HR consultant handled employee assimilation, employee query and grievance management, rewards and recognition, performance management, retention activities as well as HR metrics and reporting.

    Mohanty’s next stop was INSZoom in October of 2014, where she took on the role of HR generalist. Among other things, she was responsible for employee orientation, development and training. She also handled employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting, recruiting and staffing coordination.

    June of 2017 was witness to Nitun Mohanty joining Applied Materials as HR team lead.
    Over four years later, she was roped in for the role of senior lead-HR operations at Quantiphi. After a stint of over two years, she moved on to First Citizens India in November 2023. There, she led global HR operations for the India GCC, driving process excellence, compliance, and service delivery across the employee lifecycle. She helped build and manage a high-performing HR operations team, strengthening capability, governance and service quality for over two years.

    In her latest assignment at Lighthouse Canton, Mohanty will lead HR governance, compliance, policy management, and HR transformation initiatives across APAC.
