Lajja M has moved from Spark Capital Advisors to Religare to take up the role of executive vice president-human resources.
Armed with an MBA in Human Resource Development, Lajja M began her professional journey as a senior officer with Bennet, Coleman and Co. (Times Group), in 2005. After three years of playing HR business partner for the editorial departments, she moved to ICICI Venture as HR manager, in May of 2008. The next six years were spent in a generalist role covering the areas of interventions, performance appraisal, training & development, employee benefits, HR policies and recruitment at ICICI Venture.
June of 2014 saw her playing senior manager-human resources, ASK Group, working out of Mumbai. Less than three years into this role, she was promoted to assistant vice president-human resources. The next over nine years were spent partnering for the Group’s wealth management and fund raising businesses for various people-management responsibilities in India and Singapore geographies.
She moved to Spark Capital Advisors as senior vice president-human resources and administration in January of 2022. After four years, she is now joining Religare, the diversified finance group offering an integrated suite of financial services through various underlying subsidiaries.
Given her experience in developing human capital in the financial services and media industries through performance management, learning & development (L&D), technology interventions (HRIS), employee benefits, policies, talent acquisition, people operations, engagement and welfare activities, she is sure to be an asset to Religare.
