Cornitos, the Indian snack brand, has appointed Sharad Tyagi as its new HR head. He moves from JMA Food Group, where he was senior manager HR (corporate and plant).

Tyagi began his professional journey with Power Sector, as senior executive human resources, in 2008, based out of Haridwar, Uttar Pradesh. Less thanthree years later, he moved on to join Shineroad Foods India, as HR manager (corporate and plant). He spent almost four years there, based out of New Delhi.

Tyagi’s next stop was Ceramic Industries, as corporate and plant HR, from 2015 to 2019.

September of 2019 saw him joining DS Group as plant head-HR. For the next two years and eight months, he successfully handled employee engagement, training and development, succession planning, statutory compliances, onboarding, performance appraisal, HR policies and other HR responsibilities.

It was in May 2022 that he joined JMA Food Group as senior manager HR (corporate and plant).

In his new role as head of human resources at Cornitos (Greendot Health Foods), Tyagi will be responsible for shaping and executing HR strategies that align with the company’s vision and goals.

Tyagi holds an MBA in HR from Rai Business School, and is also a professional soft skills trainer. He will focus on fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment, enhancing employee engagement and development, and driving organisational effectiveness. He will lead initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring that Cornitos continues to thrive as a people-first organisation.

“Proud to be a part of Greendot Health Foods, an organisation that values its people as its greatest asset,” says Tyagi looking forward to “continuing to innovate and grow.”

Cornitos products— including Nacho Crisps, Taco Shells, Chunky Salsa Dips, Cheese dips, Roasted Premium Nuts, pickles and so on— are exported globally, to the US, Australia, China, Russia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Hong Kong, Nepal, Srilanka, Pakistan and South East Asia.
