    Shruti Gupta elevated to AVP-head employee experience at Airtel

    Airtel elevates its talent management head to lead employee experience after 2-year stint as GM

    Shruti Gupta has been promoted to associate vice president (AVP), head of employee experience and services at Airtel. She brings over 9 years of diverse HR experience to her new role. With an MBA in HR from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, she began her career as a management trainee in HR at KPMG India in 2014, where she worked on campus branding and hiring process benchmarking.

    Her career graph shows a steady climb through core HR functions. She joined Aircel in 2015 as a management trainee in HR in Kolkata, moving up to assistant manager – talent acquisition and talent management by 2016. There, she handled the full employee lifecycle as the circle SPOC. She then served as an assistant manager – corporate HR till April 2018.

    Gupta transitioned to Gurgaon as talent acquisition lead in 2018 and joined Airtel in December 2019 as manager talent acquisition. At Airtel, she grew quickly — manager of HR business partner in 2021, senior manager of HRBP by December 2021, and diversity & inclusion lead in June 2023. She was elevated to GM – head of talent management in July 2024, leading talent and D&I initiatives to build an engaged, gender-balanced workforce.

    In June 2026, she has stepped into her current role as AVP – head employee experience and services. With expertise across business partnering, performance management, employee relations, and talent retention, Shruti Gupta is focused on making human capital a key driver of business goals. Her journey reflects consistent growth through learning and impactful roles.
