Anil Rathore has taken up the role of head of human resources at Solfin, a platform that aims to revolutionise financing for distributed renewable energy assets for SMEs.
Rathore is backed by well over three decades of experience and began his career with the Indian Navy. From 1986 to 2006, he served in various leadership roles with his last designation being joint director, manpower planning and recruitment, Indian Navy.
September of 2006 saw Rathore joining ICICI Bank as head of talent acquisition and recruitment service. For almost three years, he was accountable for hiring 17,000 replacement/incremental hires excluding campus recruitment. He was elevated to cluster branch manager in 2009 and then to zonal training manager in April 2010. Six months later, he was promoted to recruitment head-North.
After over five years with ICICI Bank, Rathore switched to ING Vysya Bank in September 2011. He served as human resources partner for a little less than three years before being promoted to zonal HR partner-North, East & West. In this role, he successfully implemented and brought in the concept of HR partnership; transitioned the HR function from being transactional to offering strategic business partnership critical to achieving business goals.
Indiabulls ropes him in for the role of head of human resources in June of 2014. Less than two and a half years into this role, he was elevated to head-HR. By the time he moved on from Indiabulls in 2017, he had reached the position of group head-HR.
After freelancing as a consultant for a while, Anil Rathore took up the role of head of human resources, administration and learning at Shubham Housing Development Finance. After a successful tenure of over seven and a half years there, he will now be heading HR for Solfin.
