In-Solutions Global, a global digital payments company, has hired Tanaya Mishra as its new group-CHRO.
In this role, Mishra shares with HRKatha that her primary focus will be to lead the ‘cultural and organisational transformation.’ “This organisation has been around for 20 years, and our promoter, who is a self-made woman, is truly inspiring to work under. However, this is my first experience in fintech, which makes it an entirely new and exciting challenge for me,” added Mishra.
Prior to this role, Mishra was the VP & head-HR, Endo International. She joined the company in the year 2021. Mishra also served as the global CHRO at Strides Pharma, where she served her last day on 31 August, 2022.
In the year 2020, Mishra was associated with Essar Projects for more than a year as its global CHRO. At Essar, she undertook strategic workforce planning across geographies and led successful HR practices across different countries, delivering it through a multicultural team. She also created a cross-functional rapid-action team to deal with the COVID-19 situation and implemented technology to effectively support quarantined employees and their families.
With over two decades of experience in the HR domain, Mishra is an HR leader who likes to ensure business growth through partnerships. Having worked with big brands, such as ACC, Accenture, JSW and Shoppers Stop, she has been exposed to the working of multiple sectors in her career, including manufacturing, retail, BFSI and IT/ITES.
In her past roles, Mishra has been known to showcase great leadership skills and bring in innovation and growth to the forefront.
As the managing director – HR at Accenture, between July 2015 and November 2018, Mishra spearheaded the HR processes, innovation and change management by eliminating the bell- curve model and bringing in individual-specific matrices.
At JSW, when Mishra was the SVP-HR between 2011 and 2015, she was also involved in implementing and conceptualising the global competency model at the firm. She worked with Wayne Brockbank and Dave Ulrich, globally popular figures in the HR field, to create the competency model, specifically for the Indian industry.
A bachelor of law, with a master’s degree in personnel management and industrial relations, Mishra has also completed her PHD in manpower planning.
“This role covers multiple facets of the organisation, particularly within the fast-paced fintech sector, where technology and financial services intersect. I’ll be directly involved in the cultural transformation, working closely with our passionate promoter to create value for employees and enhance the workforce’s value proposition,” shares Mishra.
