    The Coca-Cola Company elevates Tapaswee Chandele to global CPO

    Chandele, who has been with The Coca-Cola Company since 2001, is presently serving as SVP and chief of staff to president & CFO, based out of Atlanta

    Starting May 2026, Tapaswee Chandele will play global chief people officer, The Coca-Cola Company. She has been with the food & beverages major since 2001 when she joined as a humble area manager, human resources.

    In 2007, she was elevated to senior manager looking after talent management and playing an HR generalist role. Less than two years into this role, she was elevated to general manager-human resources, handling, among other things, client management and key programme development.

    By January of 2011, she was promoted to HR strategic business partner, looking into capability frameworks and organisational restructuring among other responsibilities. She played HR strategic business partner for Coca-Cola Eurasia & Africa Group (EAG) and the Turkey business unit (based in Istanbul).

    Another promotion in May of 2012 put her in the position of human resources director, based out of Istanbul, Turkey.

    September of 2015 saw her relocating to Johannesburg, South Africa to take up the role of human resources director, southern and East Africa business unit.

    Two years later, she moved to Atlanta, as global director, My Career (recruiting & talent management consulting & commercialisation). The next promotion made her senior vice president of global talent, development and HR system partnerships. She is presently senior vice president and chief of staff to the president and chief financial officer, based out of Atlanta, US.

    A certified Hogan Feedback Provider & Assessor, Tapaswee Chandele is known to be capable of handling challenges with clarity of purpose and tenacity.
