TTK Prestige, the kitchen appliances brand has elevated Venkatesh Vijayaraghavan to managing director (MD). Vijayaraghavan has served as CEO of TTK Prestige since January 2024, and will now step into the shoes of Chandru Kalro, the outgoing MD.

Vijayaraghavan, who has worked as an engineer in the initial years of his career, was associated with Escotel as manager marketing from 1999 to 2003. He then moved to Reliance Infocomm in a similar capacity for less than a year, before joining Airtel.

He joined Airtel as marketing head-Karnataka, in 2003. Four years later, he became head-customer life cycle management (India), and relocated from Bengaluru to Delhi. In 2010, he was promoted to vice president-sales and marketing, based out of Indore. A year into this role came another elevation that made him chief marketing officer, in 2011. The year 2012 saw him promoted to COO, and by January of 2014, he had been elevated to CEO (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana).

For four years, from 2019 to 2023, Vijayaraghavan was a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). From 2019 to 2023, he was also on the board of Cavinkare Group, while he served as CEO and director.

Since January 2024, under Venkatesh Vijayaraghavan’s leadership, TTK Prestige has been poised for continued growth, driven by a strong focus on consumer delight and category-leading innovation. The development also reflects the company’s renewed focus on bringing on board senior leadership to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and sustained growth.

TT Jagannathan, chairman, TTK Prestige, expresses confidence in Vijayaraghavan’s “proven expertise across various industries and his ability to lead large teams” and looks forward to him being “instrumental in driving growth and bringing substantial value to the company.”

Venkatesh Vijayaraghavan himself looks forward to taking TTK Prestige “to the next level of evolution in the Indian cooking & kitchen appliances space. Together with the team, I am committed to driving new strategic initiatives that will sustain growth, create new opportunities, and further strengthen TTK Prestige’s market leadership.”
