Usha International has elevated Madhav Mani to the role of chief executive officer. Mani has been associated with the company for over 16 years as its chief human resources officer, since 2009.
In his role as CHRO, Mani was accountable for HR delivery to support continuous organisational and business growth. He spearheaded the planning and execution of all HR functions – organisation and leadership development, change management, talent acquisition, training, compensation and benefits, health and safety, and industrial relations.
His primary responsibility was to ensure high standards in talent acquisition, career development, and succession planning to meet immediate and mid-term needs and align with long-term business goals.
Prior to Usha International, Mani was associated with InterGlobe Technology as its AVP-HR, having joined in 2006. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing and governing HR initiatives across the entire organisation, designing and executing a wide array of HR programmes to align with the firm’s strategic objectives.
With professional expertise spanning over 25 years, Mani has also worked with several other companies such as Reliance Industries, The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) and SMS Demag.
His expertise lies in leadership development, change management, talent acquisition, training, compensation and benefits, health and safety, and industrial relations.
An alumnus of the Xavier Institute of Social Service, Mani’s passion lies in empowering people.
