Over two and a half years later, she joined Asian Markets Securities (AMSEC) as manager-HR & special projects. Her next stop was Edelweiss Capital where she played manager-talent acquisition for a while before moving to Royal Bank of Scotland Business in August of 2013, as HR business manager.

Deutsche Bank roped her in to play assistant vice president-professional and campus hiring, in 2014. She spent six years with the bank before taking on the role of country head-HR, TechnoServe.

Her association with Barclays lasted from October 2021 to February 2024. She served as vice president-head programmatic (campus) recruitment APAC and TA lead for BI India.

It was in March of 2024 that she moved to Jio Financial Services.

Known to be a responsive, helpful and efficient professional, those who have worked with her find her attitude and confidence to be her biggest assets.

Her pursuit is to transform the talent acquisition and management sphere, and HRKatha wishes Swappnna Varun all the best in this endeavour, as she settles into her latest role at Waterfield Advisors, an independent Indian multi-family office that offers investment advice and works with family-owned businesses, trusts and endowments. The company has offices across New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Goa, Kochi, and Bangalore.
