Previously, Singhania served as the head-global people analytics and has been with Lenovo since 2015. He initially joined the company as its HR analytics and metrics consultant. His promotion reflects Lenovo’s desire to leverage his extensive experience and strategic vision to enhance its global HR operations.

Before his association with Lenovo began, Singhania worked with Infosys and also IBM. His expertise includes data storytelling, analytical skills, reporting and analysis, and HR visualisation.

Singhania started his career with IBM in the year 2010. He joined the firm as its SAP-ABAP developer. In this capacity, Singhania worked as SAP consultant and developer for ERP systems. He was also a part of the project team for SAP-ERP implementation for 3M Germany.

In the year 2012, he joined Infosys as a summer intern and carried out gap analysis of E-separation and ConnectInfy (web application of the Infosys intranet portal ‘SPARSH) and integrated them with SmartAssyst (a chat and FAQs based smart tool) with the help of the IS (information system) team of Infosys.

After a year, in 2013, he joined Infosys as its senior associate lead-HR analytics and workforce planning. For two years, he was involved in designing workforce planning analytic models and tools, conducting internal and industry data analysis, using predictive analytics for employee turnover and workforce planning. He also acted as a subject matter expert for HR centres of excellence (CoE), independently managing the employee separation system, leading custom research projects on employee skills management and retention.

Singhania holds an MBA in human resource management from XLRI Jamshedpur.
