    Kunal Handa joins Greenply Industries as CIO

    Handa moves from Eureka Forbes where he was head of IT

    After heading IT for over two and a half years at Eureka Forbes, Kunal Handa has now joined Greenply Industries as chief information officer (CIO).

    Equipped with a Master in Computer Application (MCA), from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, Kunal Handa began his association with IBM Global Business Services, as team member in June of 2006. Seven months into this role he was elevated to senior member in the team. Another elevation in 2008 made him senior software engineer.

    From 2010 to 2012 he served as senior consultant at HCL AXON.

    Handa’s next stop was Capgemini where he was senior consultant from August 2012 to June 2013.

    He moved to Whirlpool in for a stint as manager IT SAP for a little less than two years before joining Philip Morris International in April of 2015. For almost six years he played business manager-supply chain, finance, and sales there. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to the consolidation and standardisation of processes during the organisation’s digital-transformation programme.

    Domino’s roped him in for the role of ERP lead, programme manager, transformation lead, in February of 2021. Over two and a half years later, he moved to Eureka Forbes.

    He started off heading IT-applications for Eureka Forbes for a year before being elevated to head of IT in August of 2024.

    Now, as chief information officer at Greenply, the Indian interior infrastructure company, he will architect the firm’s digital roadmap and leverage SAP/ERP systems, manufacturing technologies, and data-driven strategies to ensure efficient operations, compliance and digital transformation.
