    Sarabjeet Singh Gujral appointed CHRO, Varun Beverages

    Gujral was the former VP-HR at Shriram Farm Solutions and brings 20 years of experience in human resources.

    Varun Beverages has announced the appointment of Sarabjeet Singh Gujral as chief human resources officer, effective immediately.

    Gujral brings nearly 20 years of experience in human resources, with deep expertise in organisational transformation, industrial relations, talent management, and leadership development. He is expected to drive people strategies that support VBL’s continued growth across manufacturing, sales and corporate operations.

    Prior to VBL, Sarabjeet Singh Gujral was head-HR and VP- HR at Shriram Farm Solutions, part of DCM Shriram, from January 2022. Over four years and 7 months in the role based in Gurugram, he led HR for the agri-business, focusing on talent development and business partnership.

    Before Shriram, Gujral spent 11 years and 7 months at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages. His journey there spanned factory, sales, and national HR leadership. He started as factory HR manager at Dasna from October 2014 to April 2017, then moved to business unit HR manager for J&K from October 2010 to October 2013, and sales HR manager for UP from November 2013 to October 2014. He later took on larger mandates as national HR manager – South West Asia & projects from May 2017 to January 2018, zonal HR head – north zone for operations and commercial from January 2018 to April 2020, and national HR head – services HR from April 2020 to April 2022.

    Gujral’s career began at Abhishek Industries in Barnala, where he worked as HR generalist from April 2007 to September 2010 for three years and six months. There, he handled the full spectrum of HR including performance management, talent acquisition, analytics, and employee relations.

    With this background across FMCG, manufacturing, and agri-sectors, Gujral is set to lead VBL’s HR transformation.
