Kirloskar Ferrous Industries, a part of the Kirloskar Group, has found a new chief human resources officer in Ritesh Joshi. He moves to this Indian pig iron and casting manufacturing company from Vontier, where he was serving as regional senior director, people and culture, India.
During his almost three-decade long career, he worked with Mahindra & Mahindra for over 12 years. He joined as deputy manager, manufacturing, in 1996 and was elevated to manager-training by the time he moved on in 2008.
He served as manager-HR, General Motors from 2008 to 2010 before switching to Cummins India. His association with Cummins lasted over 13 years, where he started off as DGM, human resources in May of 2010. Just over two years into this role he was elevated to HR leader. By March of 2021 he had been elevated to labour relations leader, India, China and Asia Pacific.
Joshi’s next stop was Gilbarco Veeder-Root India where he took up the role of director-human resources, in 2023.
October of 2024 saw him switching to Vontier.
An alumnus of Savitribai Phule Pune University and XLRI Jamshedpur, Ritesh Joshi’s dexterity lies in end-to-end HR/IR functions. He has successfully handled HR generalist functions, HR business partner, recruitment, legal operations, corporate social responsibility, change management, compensation & benefits, policies & procedures, talent management, organisation development, succession planning, employee engagement, talent acquisition, and HRIS, during his almost three-decade long career.
